The Summer with Science program offers high school students a unique opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research during the summer break. As part of a paid internship, selected students experience real-world scientific research and development firsthand in the state-of-the-art laboratories of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and other facilities at the University of West Bohemia (UWB) in Pilsen.

Applicants are selected based on their motivation letters. Detailed information regarding the upcoming edition, including available topics, exact dates, and how to apply, is always published in advance in late April or early May.
