Valeo has been a major investor in the Czech Republic for 25 years, creating high value-added jobs. Today, Valeo is a key player in the Czech automotive industry, not only in production but also in research, and one of the largest employers. It has 4,000 employees at its six sites.

Valeo and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia have concluded a strategic partnership agreement to support innovative projects in the field of applied electrical engineering for production automation and industrial robotics. The partnership enables Valeo and the faculty to strengthen student research activities in electronics, embedded systems, computer modelling, industrial systems control, diagnostics, and testing.

Our partnership also opens the door to collaborative research with the possibility of applying for publicly funded projects as consortium partners. We feel strong potential in this area and will take steps towards joint projects, contract research, etc.
